A girl’s best friend

Hello hello hello!

I was urged to update by my one and only (quite literally!) follower.  So a girl’s best friend?  Jewelry!  Of course a girl has several best friends… to name a few, shoes, bags, clothes, make up….. etc etc etc.  It never ends. But back to what this post is about.   Anyway.   Here’s my newest addition!

Tiffany Filigree Heart Pendant

Though the BF would gladly take credit for this beautiful piece, it’s actually not from him.  A month or so ago, someone gave my mom a sterling silver Elsa Peretti Diamonds by the Yard pendant:

Though it’s a beautiful piece and extremely nice of the lady to give this gift to my mom, we all know my mom does not wear silver.  hahaha.  So I got the gift and considering I am allergic to silver….  Anyway, my choice is obviously more expensive, given it’s gold and the gift was silver, but I think it was worth it.  I was in dire need of a simple everyday gold necklace!  I already love it!  :)

Beauty Mania!

I’m still figuring out how to use my new computer, my new adobe photoshop CS5.1, my new scanner…etc etc etc AND embarking on many projects that may or may not turn out to be useful, successful or even fun (including this blog).  But I’ve managed to scan a few more of my old magazine inspirations and today’s theme is Beauty products!  Yay!

Isn’t the YSL creme blush below just so yummy looking?  I went to sephora.com to find it but they didn’t have it anymore!  :(  Oh by the way, theres a feature of the Chantecaille eye shadow quad on the bottom right corder of the page.  I totally fell for one of their quads (similar shades) and honestly… their eye shadows are not worth the money.  What a disappointment.

Below is a Paul & Joe collection ad from last fall.  I can’t believe I missed it.  This palette has all of my usual essential colors in one palette and even the packaging is a winner!  love it!

Love Mulberry

So i’ve decided that instead of keeping old mags around for years and collecting dust, I’m going to rip out the pictures i like and just scan them.  This way, maybe one day I’ll get to use it on something as an inspiration?  :)

First of all.  Why do I love Mulberry so much?

I especially love the sweater with the heart & peace sign buttons, the shorts, the scarf and the metal cuff bracelet.   CUTE OUTFIT if I had like a gazillion dollars!

More bday celebration

Been glued to the tv all day watching the 9.11 10yr anniversary tributes and then went out for dinner with some friends for a late bday celebration.  Below are some bday gifts and what I wore today.  :)
